Hollanda: Delft “tıklayınız Türkçe”
It was not on my list to visit Delft; but I changed my travel route since Hakan Yavuz suggested us to go to a medieval theme restaurant in Delft. We really enjoyed the time there, Thanks to him!Delft is ~one hour far away from Amsterdam (train ticket 11,50€ by 2011). Delft Market Square which is also the city center; is 10 minutes walking distance from train station. You can see the Nieuwe Kerk that was built between 1383-1510 and the 17th century renaissance town hall at the Market Square! Everything from foods to flowers are sold at the bazaar. Around the Market Square there are lots of souvenir shops. One of the historical building that you can visit is Oude Kerk (Church), and the other one is the Stedelijk Museum Het Prinsenhof. We did not visit them since we arrived Delft at about 4pm. We just had sightseeing tour for 1-2hours. BeestenMarkt area that we passed by was chirpy and pretty. The medieval restaurant that we were looking for, was close to the BeestenMarkt. We spend some lovely time there. I will gonna write about the medieval restaurant in my next blog post.During city tour, we found a chocolate shop called Chocolaterie De Lelie by chance. It is just behind the Oude Kerk. If you want to pay a visit there; here is the adress.
